8) Easy Access to the Theme Parks

There are boats at Disney’s BoardWalk that will take you right to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot. There’s also a walking path that you can take to get to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It is also a short walk to the International Gateway entrance to Epcot from Disney’s BoardWalk.

7) Get Your Workout In

Now obviously while walking around the parks you will get a lot of exercise, but if you are looking for a great place to go for a run or a walk, Disney’s BoardWalk is a perfect spot to do that. The scenery around the BoardWalk is beautiful, and if you go around sunset you will be absolutely amazed by the incredible show over the water.

6) Great Views of Fireworks

There are some spots around Disney’s BoardWalk where you will have a nice view of Epcot’s fireworks. The bridge near the International Gateway entrance gives you a beautiful view. Another good spot is the second bridge near Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels. You can also see the fireworks from some spots in front of Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. If you want to see the Disney’s Hollywood Studios fireworks, you can see those from several spots along Disney’s BoardWalk, and the Crescent Lake loop as well.

5) Rent a Surrey Bike

If you’re with a group of family or friends, one thing you might want to consider doing is renting a surrey bike. Your group can enjoy a fun ride around Crescent Lake. Be warned there are two hills along the path, so get ready for quite a leg workout. Make sure to be careful and watch for other guests walking along the path. You can rent the surrey bikes for half an hour, and there are age restrictions on who can drive, so keep that in mind.

4) Sit Down Restaurants

Disney’s BoardWalk has some delicious restaurants that you will want to check out. Trattoria al Forno has some wonderful Italian food that you are sure to love – plus, Trattoria now offers a character breakfast with Rapunzel and friends!
