8. The Teddy Bear Lady
Lynn is an older lady who hangs out in the lobby of the Grand Floridian to hear the music and enjoy the families who come through. She and her husband are big Disney fans who used to visit the resort together frequently until he passed. She continues to come and bring her teddy bear collection to show to the happy children who stop by and ask her about them. If you spot her, don’t be shy and feel free to say hi and ask to see her teddy bears.
7. Victoria & Albert’s restaurant
This restaurant is an AAA Five Diamond restaurant, which is the only one of its kind in all of Florida. At this location the dress code is strictly enforced and everyone is dressed to the nines. The meal is a selection of up to 10 prix fixe courses from some of the best chefs in the world. There are also different dining rooms and experiences, including a chef’s table experience where you get to interact with the chef and get a custom menu and wine pairings from the chef. The restaurant is stunning and even has full-time live harpist on staff to provide musical entertainment to the guests that dine there.
6. The Parasol Parade
On Monday and Friday mornings the housekeepers do what has been known as the parasol parade. They grab beautiful parasols and stroll through the grounds. It’s a fun tradition that really adds a lot of class and character to the resort.

1900 Park Fare is a character dining restaurant at the resort that serves breakfast and dinner services. Next time you are there look up and you will find Big Bertha. She is a band organ that is over a century old. The band orchestra includes symbols, castanets, a xylophone, drums, bells and more. Big Bertha can still play and does for various special occasions and events, so if you get to hear her play, you would be a very lucky guest!
4. World Class Spa
Who doesn’t love a little pampering and relaxation? The spa at The Grand Floridian, Senses, is absolutely amazing. The spa offers all kinds of services including massages, manicures, pedicures, facials, wraps and many other products. The spa even offers vegan nail products to be sensitive to animal treatment. There are also various treats, snacks and refreshments available to add to the relaxing experience. It is unlike any spa that you have ever visited.

3. Tea Party Experiences
There are various tea party experiences. You can have the princess tea party experience. You must have a child in your party in order to attend this event, and the event includes various toys and treats for the child to take home with them while you get to have tea and snacks with Princess Aurora. It is quite pricey, but an amazing experience. You can also get a reservation for an adult afternoon tea that includes a wide variety of tea selections, along with English biscuits and other traditional tea party treats. This is also an amazing experience that can be quite pricey, but is unable to be experienced anywhere else on property.

This resort is so elegant and classy that every guest room at the resort received a nightly turndown service. There is an amazing orchestra that plays at the resort every single night for a couple sets. The full orchestra plays on the second floor of the resort and can be heard all throughout the lobby. It is always an absolutely amazing musical performance delivered by a group of extremely talented musicians. They play all kinds of music and make you wish that you were wearing an elegant evening gown and holding a cocktail as you hang out in the lobby.
