It can be tempting to just take off for the parks the second the bags are put down, but it is a great idea to unpack once in the room. Unpacking allow for things to be organized upon returning to the room after a long day in the parks, and also allows for the chance to access anything needed for the day ahead like sunscreen, a change of clothes, or a poncho.
