Believe it or not, the Big Cheese is about to celebrate his 90th birthday this year in 2018. D23 is hosting a special birthday event for D23 members at Disney’s Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World. The event is called Destination D: Celebrating Mickey Mouse. The event is scheduled to take place from November 16th through November 18th at the Convention Center at the resort. Mickey’s actual birthday falls on November 18th. The birthday celebration will provide guests with a history of Mickey Mouse throughout the years. There will also be a variety of different presentations, panels and other events.

It is a great opportunity to learn even more about Mickey and his history and why he has become the amazing icon that he is. It is also Minnie Mouse’s birthday, too, so maybe we will also get to see some events featuring Minnie, too! There are currently no details on the ticket prices or when we can expect them to be available for purchase, but we will keep you posted as soon as we learn more.
