A small but noticeable stretch of Adventureland at Disneyland Park is now behind construction walls. The visible work underway offers a few intriguing clues about what’s being done… even if the Southern California Disney park isn’t saying a word about it.

WDWNT reported on May 26 that wooden fencepost-style construction walls have appeared in the area between Indiana Jones Adventure and the Adventureland Treehouse at Disneyland Park. A Disney cast member was spotted working inside the construction zone wearing a mask designed to filter out hazardous gases or fibers.

Crews appear to be working with concrete and adjusting pipes in the area. The water in the nearby little river has stopped flowing entirely, indicating that Disney cast members shut off the active water supply to that section of Adventureland. Whether the river itself is part of the project or whether the water was simply switched off for an unrelated reason hasn’t been confirmed.

The construction walls cover only a limited stretch of Adventureland between the Treehouse and Indiana Jones Adventure. Both attractions remain open and operating normally for Disneyland Park guests. Portions of the work are visible from outside the barriers and from inside the Adventureland Treehouse itself.

Disneyland Resort has not made any public statement about the project or provided a completion timeline, which aligns with the vacation destination’s standard approach to maintenance work it considers minor. Whether Southern California Disney Park guests will notice any visible changes to the Adventureland landscape when the work wraps up is currently unknown.

A happy couple takes a selfie together with a smartphone, smiling at the camera. The man wears a red hoodie, and the woman wears a blue shirt. They are outdoors, surrounded by lush greenery and colorful, decorated wooden pillars in the background.
