On Sunday, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received a report about a violent attack in the Magic Kingdom Resort Area at Walt Disney World Resort. The incident occurred at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground shortly after 1:00 p.m. on September 13.
Battery at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground
At 1:14 p.m. on September 13, law enforcement received a report about an incident of “Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone)” at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, which is located inside the Magic Kingdom Resort Area at Walt Disney World Resort. Scanner monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime shared the 911 call log on X (formerly known as Twitter):

The Google Maps screenshot attached to the X post pinpointed the location of the battery incident on a roadway near the Tri-Circle-D Ranch within the Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. However, most law enforcement activity at the Central Florida Disney parks, Disney Resort hotels, and Disney Springs is tracked at generalized coordinates for each location rather than the exact point where the 911 call originated.
Neither Walt Disney World Resort nor the Orange County Sheriff’s Office has commented publicly on the battery incident at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground on September 13. More information may become available if a police report is prepared and/or criminal charges are filed.
It’s unclear how many people were involved in the incident and whether they were injured. The initial report also did not say whether those involved were overnight guests, daytime visitors, or even cast members working at the Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Authorities are unlikely to identify anyone involved in the violent altercation unless charges are filed.
