This will surely be popping up all over social media this fall, when October 1 drops at Disney World.
The Walt Disney World Resort is known for many things. Attractions, themed lands, merchandise, iconic photo spots, and, of course, food and drink. There have been many viral food and drink items on the menu for years (think the pickle shake and the cheeseburger spring rolls), but more recently, a treat found at Disney’s Animal Kingdom made headlines.
At Terra Treats, the cookie-dough ice cream sandwich went viral among Disney World guests. Formally called the Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich, the treat sees vanilla ice cream sandwiched between edible cookie dough studded with chocolate chips and sprinkles and a chocolate brownie.
However, from October 1, 2026, this popular and Instagram-worthy treat will receive a fall glow-up. The sandwich will feature fall-themed sprinkles in shades of red, orange, yellow, and green. No doubt, this treat will be all over social media feeds as influencers get their hands on the seasonal dessert and give it a full review.
The viral Ice Cream Cookie Dough Sandwich at Terra Treats at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is getting a Fall version.
The quieter of the four parks at Disney World, Animal Kingdom, celebrates a variety of cultures through its food and wildlife. In the coming years, new experiences will crop up, namely the Tropical Americas land, which replaces DinoLand U.S.A.
In this space, Disney will welcome two new signature experiences. One based on 2021’s Encanto, and the other built around the Indiana Jones franchise. The Tropical Americas land will also introduce new dining and merchandise locations, adding even more diversity to a park that already celebrates different cultures at its core.
There is no word on how long the fall version of the ice cream and brownie sandwich will be available at the Terra Treats location in Animal Kingdom, but it will likely be replaced when the winter and Christmas season arrive later this year.
