Disney Reveals NEW Visa Card Perks Ahead of the Holiday Season!

The Disney Visa Card occupies a strange spot in the Disney planning world.

It is not a premium travel card. The rewards structure will not impress anyone who optimizes points for a living. And yet it remains one of the more genuinely useful things a frequent Disney visitor can carry, because the perks are not really about rewards at all. They are about access. Character meet and greets nobody else can walk into. Photo opportunities that do not exist for other guests. Merchandise discounts. Pins you cannot buy without the card.

Those benefits rotate, and October brought a new set.

Four limited-time offers are live this month, and one of them has two separate deadlines that are easy to confuse.

Here is everything available, plus the evergreen perks that are always there.

1. Disneyland Hotel Savings, With a Catch

Cardmembers can save up to 20 percent on select premium rooms at Disneyland Resort hotels, covering Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa, the Disneyland Hotel, and the Pixar Place Hotel.

The discounted rates apply to Sunday through Thursday night stays, with rates valid October 11 through December 18.

Now the part that matters. You must book by December 15.

Read those two dates together. The stay window closes December 18, but the booking window closes December 15. So if you want a stay on December 16, 17, or 18, you still have to have it booked by the 15th. The two deadlines are not the same, and the earlier one is the one that actually governs you.

Worth being honest about the Sunday through Thursday restriction too. Up to 20 percent off midweek nights during Halloween and Christmas season is Disney filling its softer nights, which is exactly why the discount exists. If you have schedule flexibility, that works entirely in your favor. If you were planning a weekend, this offer is not for you.

2. Aulani Savings, and the Math Favors Five Nights

This one has two tiers, and the structure is unusual.

Cardmembers can save up to 35 percent on stays of five or more nights on select travel dates for select rooms, or 30 percent on stays of four nights including Ocean and Partial Ocean views.

Travel dates run October 19 through December 23 at Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii.

Notice what that does. Going from four nights to five nights moves you up five percentage points.

That is backwards from how most hotel discounts work, where the per-night rate is flat and a longer stay simply costs more. Here, the fifth night comes with a better rate on the entire stay, which means the effective cost of adding that night is lower than the nightly rate suggests.

If you are sitting between a four-night and five-night Aulani trip, run both numbers before you decide. The structure is pushing you toward the longer stay, and for once that might genuinely be the better value.

3. A Head Start on 2027 at Disney World

Cardmembers can currently save up to 30 percent on select rooms at Walt Disney World for stays on select nights from January 3 through April 29, 2027.

This is the sleeper of the four, for two reasons.

The percentage is the strongest among the park-adjacent offers. And that window covers a genuinely good stretch at Walt Disney World, including the post-holiday lull in January, Presidents Day, spring break season, and the EPCOT festival calendar.

One thing to check before you book, though. The Disney Skyliner is scheduled to close January 24 through January 30, 2027 for its annual maintenance. If you are using this discount on Pop Century, Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach, or Riviera, cross-reference those dates. Disney will run buses, but you will not have gondolas that week.

4. The Cardmember-Exclusive Pin

The 2026 Cardmember-Exclusive Pin features Mickey with a Cardmember plaque, priced at $21.99.

Limit two per cardmember.

That limit is the whole point. Cardmember pins occupy a specific place in the collecting world precisely because you cannot buy one without the card, and a two-per-person cap keeps supply tight. If you trade pins, this is the one people will ask about.

It is available at DisneyStore.com and at several in-park locations.

At Disneyland: Tomorrowlanding, Trolley Treats, Disney’s Pin Traders, Westward Ho Trading Company, and 20th Century Music Company.

At Disney World: Frontier Trading Post, Disney Traders, Celebrity 5 and 10, Discovery Trading Company, and Disney’s Pin Traders.

The Evergreen Perks People Forget About

These are available year round, and the last two are considerably more valuable than most cardmembers use them for.

10 percent off at select merchandise locations. This also applies to packaged food and beverages sold at merchandise locations, which is the part people miss. Snacks and drinks bought at a shop rather than a quick service counter can qualify.

Exclusive PhotoPass opportunities with free downloads. Current examples include the Holocron Darth Vader photo opportunity at the entrance between Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Downloads come at no additional cost, which matters because PhotoPass downloads normally carry a charge.

0 percent financing for 6 months on select vacation packages. The fine print is important here. Packages must be booked through the Walt Disney Travel Company, online through Disney sites, or through other eligible travel agents or sites, and you have to pay with the Disney Visa Card.

Exclusive character meet and greets. Stitch at Celebrity Spotlight in Hollywood Studios, and select characters at World Celebration in EPCOT near the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival.

That last one is the most underused perk on the entire list. Dedicated cardmember meet and greet locations mean dramatically shorter waits than the general character lines, and plenty of cardmembers never walk into them because they do not realize they exist.

How to Actually Use This Month

If you are booking Disneyland, the December 15 date is your real deadline, not December 18.

If you are considering Aulani, price four nights against five before deciding. The discount tiers are not neutral.

If you are planning a 2027 Disney World trip, the January through April window is the best percentage on offer, and booking now puts you ahead of the spring break rush.

And if you are already in a park this month, go find the character meet and greet. It costs nothing and almost nobody uses it.
