Disney Tips Your Guide To A Great Disney Vacation
Universal Epic Universe is getting ready to take its Christmas celebration to another level, and guests visiting during the 2026 holiday season will have even more to look forward to.
After welcoming visitors for its first Christmas season in 2025, Universal’s newest theme park is preparing to expand its seasonal offerings with new experiences, returning favorites, and festive surprises throughout several themed lands.
This year’s celebration will bring holiday additions to areas that didn’t receive the same treatment during the park’s inaugural Christmas season.
With Universal Orlando Resort’s holiday festivities beginning November 14, here’s what’s returning to Epic Universe and what new offerings Universal has already announced for 2026.
A Fan-Favorite Land Gets a Christmas Makeover
One of the biggest additions to Epic Universe‘s 2026 holiday celebration involves SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, where Mario and Luigi will finally get their own festive surroundings.
For the first time, Universal is introducing official Christmas decorations throughout the colorful, video game-inspired land.
Guests can expect seasonal touches that blend with the area’s familiar scenery, bringing a holiday atmosphere to the world of Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and other Nintendo favorites.
Along with the decorations, Universal has confirmed themed food offerings that will give visitors another reason to explore the land during the Christmas season.
SUPER NINTENDO WORLD already features some of Epic Universe’s most recognizable environments, including Super Mario Land and Donkey Kong Country.
Now, Universal is bringing Christmas into that experience without losing the playful atmosphere that makes the land so popular.
And SUPER NINTENDO WORLD isn’t the only area receiving a major holiday upgrade this year.

Another Epic Universe Land Goes All Out
Over in How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Universal is preparing an expanded Christmas celebration inspired by the Viking holiday known as Snoggletog.
The land will receive its first full collection of Snoggletog-themed decorations, giving guests a chance to experience Berk during one of its most festive celebrations.
Fans of How to Train Your Dragon will recognize Snoggletog as the Viking world’s version of a winter holiday, making it a natural fit for the immersive land.
Universal is also introducing exclusive seasonal merchandise.
Specialty foods and beverages will join the celebration, offering visitors additional holiday treats as they explore the village.
The expanded decorations and merchandise should give returning guests plenty of new details to discover, especially those who visited Epic Universe during its first holiday season.
While Berk is preparing for a bigger celebration, another part of the park will welcome back its own Christmas atmosphere.

A Holiday Favorite Returns to Celestial Park
Celestial Park will once again transform into a cosmic winter wonderland for the Christmas season.
As the central hub of Epic Universe, Celestial Park connects guests to the park’s different themed worlds, making it one of the most visible locations for seasonal decorations.
Universal is bringing back twinkling Christmas trees and festive displays around the Cosmos Fountain.
The decorations will complement the land’s gardens, fountains, and celestial-inspired architecture, creating a holiday setting that feels different from the traditional Christmas decorations found elsewhere at Universal Orlando.
Guests visiting after sunset should have an opportunity to enjoy the illuminated displays as they explore the park.
And the festive atmosphere won’t stop at Celestial Park.
Christmas Magic Returns to the Wizarding World
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic will also participate in Epic Universe’s 2026 holiday celebration.
Universal has confirmed the return of festive lighting and seasonal decorations throughout the holiday-themed environment.
The land transports visitors to wizarding Paris and the British Ministry of Magic, combining detailed architecture with experiences inspired by the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts franchises.
Christmas decorations will add another layer to the already elaborate setting, giving returning visitors a different way to experience the area.
With several lands participating in the festivities, Epic Universe is becoming an increasingly important part of Universal Orlando’s overall Christmas celebration.
However, guests won’t have to visit Epic Universe to find holiday entertainment this year.

At Universal Islands of Adventure, Grinchmas returns to Seuss Landing, where guests can enjoy the Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular.
The live stage show features the Grinch, the Whos of Who-ville, and music inspired by the classic holiday story.
Meanwhile, Universal Studios Florida will welcome back Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s.
The nighttime parade features enormous character balloons, colorful floats, performers, and appearances from popular Universal characters.
The resort’s Christmas celebrations will also include additional decorations, entertainment, and seasonal experiences throughout the holiday period.
