Police Flood Disney’s Hollywood Studios Following Reported Altercation on Tuesday

Law enforcement was called to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Tuesday afternoon after a report that someone had been struck or touched without consent. The call came while the third Central Florida Disney park was open to guests, and officials have released very little about what happened.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office received the call at 4:22 p.m. on October 27, describing “Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone)” at the park. The account @WDWActiveCrime, which tracks law enforcement responses in and around Walt Disney World Resort, shared the scanner report on X (formerly known as Twitter), writing:

🚨 Police Alert 🚓 – 10/27/26 4:22 PM
🚨: Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone) at 📍: Disney’s Hollywood Studios

A Google Maps screenshot attached to the post places a pin on a roadway off World Drive, along the edge of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Entries about incidents at this theme park routinely use those same coordinates, so the pin doesn’t show where the call actually originated. The altercation could have happened anywhere on or near the property.

What Remains Unknown

The public record doesn’t say how many people were involved, whether they were cast members or guests, or whether anyone was seriously hurt. Walt Disney World Resort and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office haven’t commented. Disney rarely acknowledges law enforcement responses on its properties, so a statement from the company is unlikely.

More details could still emerge. Published police reports or criminal charges, if any are filed, may reveal who was involved and how serious the altercation was.

The My Disney Experience app showed no disruptions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios after the report. The park continued to operate normally, and guests can proceed with their vacation plans as scheduled.
