Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi Series to Feature Maya Erskine

In previous months Disney released the cast for the upcoming Star Wars Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi, but we just learned that Maya Erskine will be joining the cast for at least three episdoes.

We knew that Ewan McGregor returning as the iconic Jedi Master, with Hayden Christensen also returning as Darth Vader.  Also starring in the series are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie.

It is being reported now that PEN15 star and co-creator Maya Erskine could be appearing is up to three episodes in this new Disney+ series.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will take place ten years following the events in “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” where we see Kenobi faced with a great defeat as Anakin Skywalker is turned into the evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.

Filming is set to start in April but no release date has been announced yet.
