We’ve ALMOST reached July 1, and you know what that means? As we previously shared, Walt Disney World has announced the return of “Happily Ever After” at Magic Kingdom and “Epcot Forever” at EPCOT beginning July 1, 2021. We can barely contain our excitement! Of course, it’s been over a year since Happily Ever After lit up the sky at Magic Kingdom which means Disney needs some testing. Disney Cast and Community have announced a testing notice for resort guests staying in the Magic Kingdom Resort area.
As shared via Walt Disney World Cast & Community Facebook: “Put on your favorite pajamas, cozy up and look to the skies! Tonight (June 26) and Tuesday, June 29, after regular park hours, neighbors and resort guests near Magic Kingdom Park may hear a familiar sound as we test our fireworks before their official debut on July 1. We understand the evening noise impacts may not be ideal and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to your routines. We hope you enjoy the show! **PRO TIP: For the complete viewing experience, don’t forget the music!
We hope you have a chance to step out on your Magic Kingdom resort balcony and enjoy the show from afar! You could also take to the beaches at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort or Disney’s Polynesian Resort. In the meantime, if you haven’t already, be sure to make those plans to visit Walt Disney World, as more and more of the magical experiences we all know and love return.
