Give Kids the World Gingerbread Run

If you are in the Central Florida area, there is an organization that you need to know about. Give Kids the World is truly making a difference. They give families with kids that are critically ill completely free dream vacations. During difficult times like that, the focus can be on doctor appointments but Give Kids the World allows families to forget about all that for a few days and just enjoy time together.

They are always looking for volunteers, and you can make a difference in the lives of these families. They have different events throughout the year, and there is one that is coming up. The Give Kids the World Gingerbread Run is happening on November 6th, 2021, at 7:30 AM at Give Kids the World Village. Here is the info that they released their email newsletter:

“There’s still plenty of time to register for Give Kids The World’s 2021 Gingerbread Run, taking place at the Village on Saturday, November 6, beginning at 7:30 am.

For the first time ever, participants can get a sneak peek of our Night of a Million Lights holiday lights spectacular while completing a one-lap fun run, or a full 5K course. In addition, fundraisers have the option of creating their own unique challenge and participating virtually, from anywhere in the world. All funds raised will help us create the happiness that inspires hope for wish families during magical dream vacations at our whimsical nonprofit resort. The deadline for fundraising is Wednesday, November 3.
