Disneyland Paris just announced that they would be canceling their New Year’s Eve celebration due to the COVID-19 condition in France and measurements from the government. This is what it says on the official website.

Given the current situation and the latest measures from authorities on 31 December throughout France, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the special Disney New Year’s Eve Party. Details regarding our applicable commercial policy can be found here.

Guests who want to celebrate the New Year at Disneyland Paris and have a valid ticket for the day are more than welcome to enjoy both Disney Parks on 31 December 2021 for an exceptionally extended day of fun from 9am until 12.30am at Walt Disney Studios Park and until 1am at Disneyland Park (Entry to one or both of the Disney Parks depends on your Park Ticket conditions). Tickets and Packages are still available for purchase for the New Year period.

In addition to our seasonal Christmas product and attractions, guests will enjoy extra entertainment for the evening at Disneyland Park such as Selfie Spots with Disney Characters, an exclusive parade and shows.

Disney’s Enchanted Christmas will continue as scheduled until 9 January 2022. We look forward to welcoming you to Disneyland Paris very soon and wish you Happy Holidays!

There is no word about the Parks being shut down or any other closures. Many of the Disney Parks worldwide have closed for a couple of days due to COVID-19 outbreaks. The Parks use an abundance of caution when doing everything possible to keep exposure to COVID-19 to a minimum.

Here in the United States, we have safety protocols in place. Face coverings are still required at all indoor areas and on any transportation. We can all do our part to keep ourselves and others safe.
