The fall season is just around the corner! Starting today, Disney World is decorated and ready for the autumn foliage festivities. Disney World puts on Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party to celebrate the spooky holiday and overall season of fall. Disney World decorates Magic Kingdom, where the Halloween Party is held with Mickey-shaped pumpkins, leaves, and more orange fun.
Disney World decorates and transforms the Parks nearly overnight. If you’ve ever watched Decorating Disney: Holiday Magic, you’ll know how much effort goes into changing the Parks into a fall festival. Watch as Disney gives us a sneak peek into the transformation of Magic Kingdom. Disney goes behind the scenes just before tonight’s very first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Decorating Magic Kingdom
Ashley Carter, journalist, and YouTuber, reports often on the Disney Parks. As seen in the tweet above posted on her X account, it is a video of Imagineers fast at work. In the same vein as Cinderella having until midnight at the ball, Imagineers have a short amount of time to transform Main Street, U.S.A., and the rest of the Park before Guests arrive for the next opening morning.
Additionally, Disney took to its Instagram page Disney Parks, showing some Mickey-shaped pumpkins and wreaths on display. “Why are we so obsessed with Halloween? Mickey Pumpkin Wreaths are cool,” Disney Parks wrote. The Park is coming together all in time for the celebration of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. With the Party comes limited-time bites and sips, entertainment, trick-or-treating, character experiences, and much more!
Fans quickly took to the comment section sharing their excitement for the holiday season that is finally upon us. Thehectorgonzalez wrote, “It’s the best time of year! Walking down Main Street during Halloween time with a pumpkin spice latte is pure bliss.” Morgansgotjokes commented, “Yes!!! Best time of the year!!”
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is only one way to enjoy the festivities, which requires a special ticket to enter the Park. Additionally, Guests can enjoy photo ops, character experiences, new treats, and more during the celebration from August 11 to November 1, 2023.
