Warner Bros. Advances Harry Potter Project Amid Legal Troubles

A new chapter in the Wizarding World franchise is set to unfold with the upcoming launch of a Harry Potter store in Chicago. Scheduled to open its doors in the spring of 2025, this exciting venture will occupy a significant space of 12,300 square feet at 676 Michigan Avenue. This store follows the successful establishment of similar attractions in New York and London, which have both drawn crowds eager to experience the enchantment of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry firsthand.

Sarah Roots, the EVP of Warner Bros. Worldwide Studio Tours and Retail, expressed enthusiasm regarding the opening, stating, “Our ambition is to bring some Harry Potter magic to Chicago with our uniquely themed shopping experience and unmatched selection of products.”

“I am delighted we have secured such a great property in a prime location and look forward to the opening next year,” she continued.

Warner Bros. hasn’t provided an exact opening date for the newest Harry Potter location.

While specifics concerning the Chicago store’s offerings remain somewhat limited, one can anticipate a range of themed merchandise that reflects the depth of the Harry Potter universe. The New York store has set a high precedent, featuring meticulously crafted decor, impressive props from the films, and unique collectibles.
