The iOS users got the new PhotoPass editing functionality, but the Android users got other key updates to the mobile My Disney Experience App. The changes are subtle, but do make the app faster and easier to use. The app now starts on the park map with wait times readily available to view. There is also now a tab that when swiped into view will display the guest’s dining, FastPass+ or other pertinent information for the day related specifically to the guest. This makes that information much easier to find and access. These updates are only in the Android app, and are expected to be released and available for iOS in the coming months.

The My Disney Experience app is available for all mobile devices and is the guest’s access to everything within their account. Once a My Disney Experience is set up, it can be linked to the mobile app so that the guest has access to all of their plans, park maps, wait times, show times, attractions, restaurants, menus and more. It is a way to carry around all of the Disney information at your fingertips so you can always find what you are looking for. We always make good use out of this app in the parks. Even better, all of Walt Disney World offers free wi-fi so you won’t have to use your own data to access and make use of the app. If you don’t have it, you should definitely download and get comfortable with it before your next Disney vacation.
