Animal Kingdom’s Discovery Island Trails Re-Open at Walt Disney World

Recently the Discovery Island trails at Disney’s Animal Kingdom have been closed for refurbishment. The trails are now officially back open and available for guests to walk through. These are the trails that go around close to the Tree of Life and give you closer views of this impressive tree.  With this being among the busiest weeks in Walt Disney World each year, all additional attractions that can be open as help with crowd control at the parks and give more places for guests to spread out and enjoy various attractions.

If you have never taken time to stroll through the various trails at Animal Kingdom, then you are missing out.  The trails offer views and learning opportunities for unique animals that you may not see in other locations around the park.  The trails in Africa give you amazing views of the gorillas, while the trails in Asia provide views of tigers.  Now the Discovery Island trails have a kangaroo exhibit which is great to see.  You definitely want to make sure to give these a try!
