At Walt Disney World, there is always something new to celebrate. Disney World is celebrating the birth of another animal! Welcoming to the Disney family is a baby Shetland pony foal. This young pony is not from Animal Kingdom but was born at the Tri-Circle-D Ranch.
The sweet girl is less than 24 hours old and is doing well. Disney Parks report, “She’s already in the pasture bonding with mom.” She is keeping close to her mom, Lady. Although not yet given a name, she has already been tasked with a royal duty.

Disney thanks their team working at the ranch for making births like this possible. “Births like these are possible thanks to the care and dedication of our ranch hands at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground,” Disney Parks wrote.
Cinderella Pony
As a Shetland pony foal, the newest addition to the family was born with a beautiful white coat. This means she will one day help pull Cinderella’s coach. The royal horses at Walt Disney World are tasked with pulling Cinderella’s coach for parades and Disney weddings. In January 2021, Obie, another Shetland pony foal, was the firstborn at Tri-Circle-D Ranch, according to Inside the Magic. Furthermore, Guests can learn about the pony foal responsibility by heading to Disney+ to watch Nat Geo’s TV Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
