Arrests Made in a Counterfeit Ticket Scam at Walt Disney World

Brandon Bullerin and Jimmy Messer have been arrested for creating and selling counterfeit tickets to Walt Disney World theme parks.  Brandon had an ad on Craigslist where he advertised discount tickets to the park.  He and his partner would have their victims meet them at Orlando International Airport and pay in cash for the tickets.  He passed the tickets off as complimentary cast member tickets with his name on them.  He’d show them his ID and told them that he was a cast member.  When they would take the tickets to the parks, they would learn that they are counterfeit and that they had been duped.

The pair were finally caught when undercover detectives contacted the Craigslist ad about tickets and met him at International Airport. Brandon was arrested and the tickets he was attempting to sell the officer was confirmed as counterfeit.  He named Jimmy and his co-conspirator.  They are being charged with a misdemeanor charge for the scam.  Always be care when purchasing Disney park tickets from a third party.  There are a lot of bad people out there that try to take advantage of unsuspecting tourists.  For this reason, we always play it safe and buy our tickets directly from Disney our authorized re-sellers.  Please alert the appropriate authorities if you suspect any schemes or scams from other sellers.
