Baby Zebra Can Now Be Seen at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

Back in June Walt Disney World announce the birth of a zebra. This adorable little guy’s name is Dash. If you are an animal lover, you now can have the opportunity to see him at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Dr. Mark Penning, Vice President at Disney’s Animals, Science & Environment, shared this on Instagram:

We’re thrilled to share these adorable photos of Hartmann’s mountain zebra mom Zoey and her healthy female foal, born at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Hartmann’s mountain zebras are classified as vulnerable, so this birth is exciting news for the species and our animal care team.

Keep an eye out for this adorable pair at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge! You just might catch a glimpse of them nursing, bonding and roaming around the resort’s savanna.

If you didn’t know, Walt Disney World has a Disney Conservation Fund. Helping animals, even those out in the wild, is extremely important to them. Disney explains it like this:
