Claiming the best ride in all of Disney World feels like a lot of pressure. But Disney has once again outdone itself with their newest ride in EPCOT. ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ (2014) has become a fan favorite across all Parks. EPCOT’s newest edition adds another thrill ride to Disney World giving all Guests a reason to wait in line for this ride.

While EPCOT may be more well known for “drinking around the world” or enjoying The World Showcase, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind gives Guests a reason to put down their drinks and check out this new ride.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

The Marvel-themed rollercoaster has so many surprises, it has become almost an unexpected ride in EPCOT. Disney features all of the favorite characters from Guardians, making it feel like you are a part of the team and along for the ride.

The rollercoaster itself has so many twists and turns, using an innovative ride system. After getting off the ride, Guests soon realize it is something they have never experienced before, making them want to go back for more.

Upon entering the ride’s queue you are met with design and detail through the Xandar gallery.

“Here, guests can learn about the Xandarian people and their technologies in the Galaxarium, a planetarium of sorts featuring the galaxy around Terra — the Xandarian term for Earth — and Xandar.” as detailed by Travel + Leisure.

So what makes this the best ride in all of Disney World? Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is innovative with its design and technique making it a rollercoaster that is like no other in all of the Disney Parks. With that being said, you’d have to love thrill rides to deem this the best one yet. This rollercoaster is more than that though, transporting you into another world, the “other” world of EPCOT. The music guided throughout the ride, in the dark mostly, really feels like you are a part of the intergalactic chase.
