Blizzard Beach Closed November 5th and 6th

If you were planning to go to Blizzard Beach on November 5th or 6th, you will have to reschedule your plans. If you check on the Walt Disney World website, it says “no times available” when those two days are selected. November 7th they will be reopened as you can see and their hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Other parts of the country may think Florida is crazy, but we will have cooler temperatures those days which is not the best time to go to a waterpark. We have been having unusually hot weather the past few weeks but are starting to get some cooler days in Central Florida.

If you want to go to Typhoon Lagoon, you will have to wait until further notice because there has not been a reopening date for that Waterpark yet. Until then, you can enjoy Blizzard Beach. Unlike the four Theme Parks, you do not need a Park Pass Reservation to go to Blizzard Beach. Also, another bonus is parking is free, unlike at the Theme Parks. You will need a separate ticket to go to the Water Park. If you have never been to Blizzard Beach, you need to go. Their pools and slides are one of a kind, and they have Summit Plummet which the biggest thrill seeker in your group will love.

Make sure to social distance as much as possible and still follow all safety guidelines that Walt Disney World has put into place. Face masks are not allowed in the water but are still required in indoor locations. Remember to be kind to all Cast Members and know that they are doing their job to keep you and all other Guests and Cast Members safe.
