Things look very different since Walt Disney World reopen after closing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Limited capacity and a Park reservation system were put into place. Many Guests wondered if Walt Disney World would still do their special after hours events. Although Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party was a no go this year, Walt Disney World decided to create a new event called Disney Boo Bash Afterhours. It has some of the same elements as Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, but it is an entirely different event.
There are Halloween themed cavalcades, trick or treating, and character sightings around the Park. Guests are also allowed to dress up in their favorite costumes. This event is not just for kids it is for those of all ages, and anyone can participate in the activities. With limited capacity, you’ll be able to get more rides and attractions in so you can do all your favorites over and over.
If you were waiting to buy your ticket to Disney Boo Bash Afterhours then you’ll be disappointed to find out that all nights are entirely sold out. Since this is a separate ticketed event and Disney is keeping capacity low, this is not surprising. While there’s always a chance that they might decide to add more currently, there are none available.
Just a reminder of current safety policies at Walt Disney World. Face coverings are currently required indoors. They are optional for outdoors, so use your discretion. Please be kind to all Cast Members, they are doing their job and are doing everything they can to keep you safe. They also do not make the rules, so please do not take anything out on them.
