Disney’s Coronado Springs resort has started for the changes that are scheduled to. Â Due to these changes, bus stops at the resort have to be adjusted. Â Starting today, May 8th, the first stop, Bus Stop 1 will be closed. Â Instead there will be a bus stop set up at the resort’s porte cochere for the pick ups and drop offs that Bus Stop 1 used to accommodate. Â This will only be a temporary location until the new location close to Bus Stop 1 will open. Â This is expected to be in place by the end of May.

These changes are the start of the logistical changes needed to accommodate all of the construction planned for the resort. Â Disney announced a couple months back that a new resort tower will be built at the resort that will be 15-stories and will add around 500 guest rooms. Â These guest rooms will include suites as well as concierge level rooms. Â The tower will overlook Lake Dorado at the resort and rooftop dining is planned at the top of the tower as a completely new dining location. Â There haven’t been details about the new dining location announced yet, but it is expected to be a high-end experience with amazing views of the surrounding areas around Walt Disney World. Â We can’t wait to see what it all will look like and what delicious items we will see on the menu.
Who else can’t wait to stay in the new tower? Â Who will book stays when it opens?
