Celebrate National Fishing & Boating Week at Walt Disney World

This week is National Fishing & Boating Week!  From now through June 9th, 2019 is a national celebration of all things related to recreational fishing and boating.  It is the perfect time to get out on the water since we are only a couple weeks away from the official first day of summer. Guests who are in the Walt Disney World area can also celebrate with one of the fishing and boating adventures on some of the select lakes and lagoons throughout Walt Disney World.

The boats depart from select Walt Disney World Resort hotels.  Guests can book a catch and release bass fishing excursion with a trained Disney fishing guide.  This experience is fun for all levels of fishers out there.  Guests can also fish from the land with dockside fishing at Fishin’ Hole at Ol’ Man Island at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside.

Guests who want to go on their own adventure can also rent one of the motorized boats at Walt Disney World Resort Hotel marinas.
