We are anxiously awaiting the official opening of Disney’s Riviera Resort at Walt Disney World! This resort will be the newest Disney Vacation Club property to join the family and has been under construction for a while. The resort is set to officially open to guests for stays starting on December 16th, 2019 ad reservations are already available! One of the amazing features of the resort is S’il Vous Play and thanks to Disney Parks Blog, we have a little bit of sneak peek at how it was created!

S’il Vous Play is an interactive water play area, which is ideal for younger guests who will be visiting the resort. Disney puts a lot of effort into the details in everything that they create, which expands to just about every aspect of the resort, including this amazing water area. The area draws its inspiration from many of the public fountains that are found throughout Europe, while also featuring characters from Fantasia, a classic 1940 Disney animated film.
According to Disney Parks Blog, “Inspired by the Dance of the Hours in Fantasia, S’il Vous Play celebrates music, art, dance and storytelling with a creative fountain that features whimsical animals as they frolic and play in the water. You’ll find an elephant filling a dump bucket with his trunk while hippos and ostriches dance and play, and hippos splashing water into decorative bowls and basins.”
