We previously announced that Cirque du Soleil La Nouba would have its final show on December 31st, 2017. The show is set to close and we have learned that Disney and Cirque du Soleil are collaborating on a new show to take over the location. Cirque du Soleil La Nouba has been performed at Walt Disney World for 19 years, so it has had a very long run at the venue in Disney Springs (previously Downtown Disney). We have now learned that Cirque du Soleil will live stream the final bow at the final show. Guests that want to check out this final bow and special moment in Disney history will be able to view the live stream on Cirque du Soleil’s Facebook page. The live stream is set to begin at 10:20 EST.

It is always sad when we see a permanent closure at Walt Disney World, but we also know that this means that new things are on the horizon. Since we have confirmed that there will be another show coming to replace La Nouba, we at least know we won’t have to wait all that long. We can also be certain that the new show will be amazing and include some of the latest and greatest technology, stunts and effects. We can’t wait to see what Disney and Cirque du Soleil come up with for their next venture.
Who out there will miss La Nouba when it is gone?
