We are getting closer and closer to the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World! The new, themed land is set to officially open to guests on August 29th, 2019. Disney Parks Blog shared reminders about what guests should wear when visiting the new land. When Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened at Disneyland Resort, guests ages 13 and under were allowed to wear costumes for their visit. These costumes included masks as long as they don’t have an obstructed peripheral vision and opening where the eyes can be fully seen. This will also be the case for the opening at Walt Disney World.
Guests who are ages 14 and older will not be allowed to wear costumes to the opening. Since these guests can’t wear costumes, Disney shared a look at some of the other ways that guests can dress to be part of the fun in Batuu. Check it out below:
For guests that want to fit in with the locals, stick to a color palette of muted earth tones and focus on natural materials with a rugged, handmade look.
Here are some examples of looks that are not permitted!
