Cover Story and The Darkroom Set to Close for Refurbishment at Walt Disney World

Two shopping locations right at the front of Disney’s Hollywood Studios are expected to close for a long refurbishment.  They are currently scheduled to be closed from January 9th – March 23rd, and reopen to guests on March 24th.  The Darkroom is a shopping location for MagicBands and accessories, along with camera gear.  Cover Story is a shopping location where you you can view and purchase prints and digital copies of PhotoPass images that have been taken throughout any park.  The stores are connected to each other on the same area of the street.

We have not heard information as to what the refurbishment will entail and what changes we can expect when they re-open.  It could be new decor, new products and displays, etc.  We will update here as soon as we get more information.  What do you all think this refurbishment will be?
