The Star Wars: Galactic Nights event is coming up on May 27th, 2018. The event is a special ticketed event that will be held at Disney’s Hollywood Studios within Walt Disney World. Disney Parks Blog released more info about the guest speaker who are lined up to be a part of the panel during the “Inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” panel discussion. David Collins will be hosting the panel and members of Walt Disney Imagineering will be participating in the event. Guests will be able to learn more about Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and how the experience and details will be created.

Guests who attend the panel will be able to see photos of the new themed land, learn about the latest construction updates, learn more about the planet Batuu and a few other surprises, too!
The event will feature a variety of contributors, including:
- Scott Trowbridge, Portfolio Creative Executive, Walt Disney Imagineering: Scott is responsible for the strategic concept development for the Star Wars franchise for Disney Parks and Star Wars content across all of the different lines of business.
- Eric Baker, Creative Director, Walt Disney Imagineering: Eric is responsible for creating the stories and themed for Disney theme parks and other Disney locations. He is one of the people that brings the amazing stories to life for guests.
- Jon Georges, Executive Producer, Walt Disney Imagineering: Jon offers over 30 years of experience in Walt Disney Imagineering. He works on a variety of projects around the world, including the recent New Fantasyland changes at Magic Kingdom Park.
- Margaret Kerrison, Managing Story Editor, Walt Disney Imagineering: Margaret is responsible for the overall story direction in the Star Wars portfolio. She mangers the story initiatives throughout all of the Disney parks and lands.
Warwick Davis will also be in attendance at the event as the official hosts for Galactic Nights.
Guests at the event will receive the final set of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge trading cards at the end of the evening as they exit the park. The tickets for the event are already on sale, so you should definitely get them while you can.
