Disney Cast Members Can Now Remove Masks While Outside

With the exception of Disney transportation, as of June 15 masks are no longer required for fully vaccinated guests throughout Walt Disney World property. While guests have been able to go without masks outside since May 15, Cast Members were still required to keep their masks on. Well, as of June 18, this has changed and yes… we finally get to see those Cast Member smiles once again!

As shared via Walt Disney World Cast & Community Facebook: “Here’s something to smile about! As of today, face coverings are optional for fully vaccinated Cast Members working outdoors. It’s so great to see our vaccinated Cast sharing happy smiles with Guests and fellow Cast Members outside once again as we continue to make intentional and gradual changes to our health and safety protocols. #DisneyCastLife”

Wow, look at those smiles! We never realized just how much something as seemingly simple as a smile can be so greatly missed. This has brightened our day. Keep smiling, Cast Members!
