Disney Collaborates with Citizen

If you are looking to buy a new watch and are a Disney fan, you will want to hear this. Citizen has combined with Disney to launch a new collection. Chelsea Burnett shared more with Disney Parks Blog.

This past weekend, we turned our clocks back one hour as Daylight Saving time began once again. You may have caught the team at “Good Morning America” resetting the Main Street, U.S.A. clock at Magic Kingdom Park on-air with a little help from our friends at Citizen! We thought, in the spirit of time, who better to spotlight than The Official Timepiece of Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort.

Founded in 1918, Citizen has been keeping their fans on time for over 100 years. And, since 2018, Citizen has been helping our guests make the most out of their Disney vacations. If you’re like me, then every trip to Walt Disney World Resort begins at Magic Kingdom Park with a photo of Cinderella Castle and the Citizen Clock on Main Street, U.S.A. Recently, it got an EARidiscent makeover in honor of the World’s Most Magical Celebration— signaling to our guests that it’s time to make new memories! Fans of our attractions can also find Citizen clocks on select Lighting Lane entrances across Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort! And since no trip to Walt Disney World Resort is complete without a show or two, you’ll want to grab a times guide the next time you enter one of our parks—all brought to you by our friends at Citizen.

Speaking of the Walt Disney World Resort 50th anniversary celebration, you may have seen the Citizen Countdown Clock on the official Walt Disney World website every day (or every hour, maybe?) leading up to Oct. 1, but have you seen the amazing Walt Disney World Resort 50th anniversary celebration-inspired collection of watches? With the celebration ticking away, you’ll definitely want to pick up one of these limited-time-only timepieces at Walt Disney World Resort! With Citizen Eco-Drive, powered by light, you’ll be able to wear your favorite Disney character on your wrist, like my personal favorite Mickey, for celebrations to come!

While you’re at it, be sure to check out Citizen’s upcoming in-park event at Walt Disney World Resort. On Nov. 19 and 20 at Uptown Jewelers in Magic Kingdom Park and on Dec. 10 and 11 in Ever After at Disney Springs, guests can purchase a Citizen timepiece and receive a limited-time-only Main Street Clock Holiday Ornament to take a timepiece of magic back home with them!

And if you’re looking to experience the magic of Walt Disney World Resort, you’re in luck! Citizen is inviting guests to share a favorite Walt Disney World memory from the past 50 years for a chance to win a vacation for four to Walt Disney World Resort. With the deadline to enter today, time is running out, so be sure to check out the official rules here for your chance to win! With so much more of the World’s Most Magical Celebration left to enjoy, be sure to keep checking the blog to see all of the new and upcoming timepieces that our friends at Citizen, the Official Timepiece of the Walt Disney World Resort 50th Anniversary Celebration will be releasing!

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Sweepstakes begins at 9:00 AM ET on 10/1/21 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on 11/11/21. Open only to legal residents of 50 US/DC who are 18 years or older. Click Here for Official Rules, including how to enter, odds, prize details and restrictions. Void where prohibited. About Tricia Kennedy

Tricia lives in Orlando and loves having Walt Disney World pretty much in her backyard. She can be found at Disney several times a week. She will often stop by a park for an hour or two, but she also enjoys spending a whole day there with her friends. A lifelong Star Wars fan, Tricia especially enjoys Star Tours and has ridden over 200 times. Tricia's other favorite thing is Disney's BoardWalk, where she can often be found taking a walk or watching the nightly street performers. If Tricia is not at the parks she's out playing drums or with her dog Yoda.
