Disney Cruise Line Requires All Guests 12 and Older to be Vaccinated AND Tested Regardless of Destination

Disney Cruise Line has announce that all Guests 12 and older must be fully vaccinated AND have a negative COVID-19 test to be able to sail. Guests under 12 must have a negative COVID-19 test and rapid test will not be excepted for children. This now includes not only cruises to the Bahamas but cruises to Mexico as well. All Guests will be required to take a rapid test at the terminal before boarding. If anyone in that party tests positive, the entire group will not be allowed to board. This is the information on Disney Cruise Lines website:

“In order to sail, Guests 12 years of age and older must be vaccinated and upload their proof of vaccination to the Safe Passage website by Inspire Diagnostics. Guests 11 years of age and under must upload proof of a negative pre-trip COVID-19 test to Safe Passage. The test must be a rapid PCR test or lab-based PCR test. Rapid antigen tests are not accepted. A parent or legal guardian will need to use their own account to provide this information on their behalf. All Guests, regardless of age and vaccination status, are required to take a COVID-19 test administered by Inspire Diagnostics at the terminal before boarding.”

Disney Cruise Line has been doing extra cleaning to make sure everything is as sanitary as possible. Also, masks are required in all common areas of the ship. They are asking all Guests to stay home if they are not feeling well end to have everyone to do their part to keep all Guest and Crew Members safe. The COVID-19 pandemic has canceled so many plans, and we all want to get a sense of normal back, and if we all work together, we can get closer to that goal. You have to use your judgment if this is the right time to go on a cruise, but they are doing everything they can to have it be a wonderful yet safe experience for all.
