As announced by Disney: “Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Launches in 2022 at Walt Disney World Resort. Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida will take you to a galaxy far, far away for an all-immersive, two-night vacation experience that goes beyond anything Disney has ever created before.”
While were bummed we’ll need to keep waiting to experience the Starcruiser, we are thrilled Disney is making sure the experience is as incredible for guests as possible. From the moment you arrive on the Starcruiser to the moment you depart, Disney has said you’ll be “plunged into a Star Wars story where your decisions and actions – or even the casual conversations you may have – determine how your personal journey unfolds.”

You’ll be able to watch your journey through viewports as you approach the Halcyon starcruiser, which will be your home for the next two nights. Once you arrive on the Halcyon, you’re Launch Pod’s airlock will slide open and you’ll get to finally step aboard the Starcruiser! The ship will have characters, dining experiences, lightsaber training, and so much more to make your stay feel like you’re truly immersed in a Star Wars storyline.
