Disney Donates $100,000 to Central Florida Community to Help Bring Arts Program to Deserving Youth

We love hearing about positive, uplifting stories from Disney and we have another one from Disney Parks Blog! Disney recently surprised Central Florida Community Arts while they were holding their weekly choir rehearsal with a $100,000 investment. This grant will allow the program to expand their existing program to local students who may not otherwise have the opportunity to be exposed to the arts.

Per Disney Parks Blog, “Central Florida Community Arts serves to build and strengthen communities through the arts and creative expression. Their mission is to provide accessibility to the arts at a young age, enabling enriching experiences that lead to lifelong engagement and appreciation for the arts. Through the organization’s unique programming, local students are learning how to express themselves in healthy, creative ways, while working with others in team-building environments.”

The expansion for this organization will include arts-focused camps and curriculum to be introduced to select schools in the local Parramore and Pine Hills neighborhoods.

This was an awesome celebration where more than 175 members of the Central Florida Community Arts choir receive a special performance from a Walt Disney World Resort a capella group!
