Walt Disney World is “The Most Magical Place On Earth.” For many, visiting Disney World is a dream come true. Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT have so much to offer, each park having its unique experience. Disney is constantly growing and changing, adding new additions to the Parks, including attractions, dining, entertainment, and much more. With plenty to experience, it’s no surprise Guests keep coming back for more.
For those who frequent the park, Annual Passes are a perfect offer. The four options are the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, Disney Pirate Pass, Disney Sorcerer Pass, and Disney Incredi-Pass. All four passes offer perks in and outside of the Park. Alongside the Park entry, passholders receive 20% off merchandise, savings on select dining, and standard theme Park parking.
Disney Pixie Dust Pass is the cheapest of the bunch, moving up to Pirate Pass, Sorcerer Pass, and Incredi-Pass as the highest. Oftentimes, Disney will run additional deals on Resort hotel stays for Annual Passholders as well. As Disney Incredi-Pass is the highest pass a Guest can purchase, it is shocking that Disney has added some restrictions.
Disney Incredi-Pass
As an Annual Passholder, Guests are aware of the restrictions that come with each pass. The lower pass, for example, Disney Pixie Dust Pass, only allows entry Monday through Friday and is only available for Florida Residents. The Disney Incredi-Pass holds an annual price of $1,399 or $107.08 monthly with the least amount of restrictions and is open to all Guests for purchase.
Looking ahead to the 2024 year, it seems that Incredi-Pass holders will have restrictions that were not once there before. “Though the Disney Incredi-Pass is billed as “no blackout dates,” there are five dates in September 2024 that are currently restricted to guests, even though they hold the most expensive Annual Pass,” Inside the Magic reports.
According to the Disney website, dates September 1 to September 5, 2024, are blocked off for all Annual Passholders, including the Incredi-Pass. Some fans speculate that this is due to the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Disney may be hoping for a full Park at Magic Kingdom and want to allow theme Park reservations to be open and fair to all during the week. There are no specific notes from Disney stating this is true or denoting it.
Disney does have listed on the very top of the Annual Passholder website, “The quantity of passes will be limited and passes, or a pass type, may become unavailable for purchase at any time.” With that statement, it does allow the wiggle room for blackout dates for any pass. Annual Passholders of the Incredi-Pass may not be thrilled by the blackout dates, as I am sure many of them would like to visit during an opening as grand as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
What are your thoughts on these new blackout dates?
