Are you looking for some fun do it yourself crafts and treats that you can do from home. Halloween is already a fun time of year, but it’s even better when you add Disney to it. Thomas Smith shared with Disney Parks Blog some DIYs that you can do at home:

 

With Halloween fast approaching, we’ve scared up a Stretching Room full of hauntingly good Disney Parks DIY favorites to begin the week!

Whether it’s terribly terrific tutorials for creepily creative crafts, hair-raising recipes for dreadfully delicious delights or Halloween-inspired how-tos from our popular Disney Paper Parks series designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, there’s something fiendishly fun to create for all Foolish Mortals this season!

It’s pumpkin carving time and you can peruse a plethora of Disney-inspired templates.  Top designs vary in level of difficulty – an easy Skeleton Mickey, a moderate Princess Anna or a complex Dr. Facilier.  For templates on each of these designs, click here. And here are step-by-step instructions.

Sarah from Pretty Providence, and Ashton from Mom on The Monorail are also unearthing some frightfully-fun Disney inspired Halloween DIY crafts just for the occasion.  Sarah’s No-Carve Mickey Pumpkin is a quick and easy craft that all members of your family can enjoy making!  And Ashton is sharing her adorable Mickey Candy Corn Piñata.  You can find both projects in our earlier story.

And Walt Disney Imagineering has a frightfully fun four-part series of Disney Paper Parks inspired by Halloween and the Haunted Mansion! Part one of the series includes Haunted Mansion home decorations!  And part two focuses on tableware inspired by the Haunted Mansion.

Part three of the Halloween-inspired Disney Paper Parks series is a spirited set that includes the exterior facades of the Haunted Mansion at Walt Disney World Resort, as well as a Portrait Chamber that actually stretches!    And the series wraps with paper wearables inspired by the Haunted Mansion. 

For something dreadfully delicious, we have step-by-step directions on how you can make a ‘Ghost Mickey’ Candy Apple.  It’s easy to create – you’ll just need Granny Smith apples, caramel, marshmallows, white chocolate and a touch of dark chocolate.
