Disney Imagineers Shares Colors Selected for EPCOT’s New Creations Shop

As EPCOT’s transformation continues to unfold, we’re receiving a few details as we eagerly await the final product for many EPCOT experiences including the new flagship merchandise location, Creations Shop. While Creations Shop is scheduled to open sometime “this summer”, Disney Imagineer, Zach Riddley, is sharing details now on colors selected for the new shop.

As shared via Zach Riddley Instagram: “I shared in an earlier post that we’re developing an entirely new color palette for EPCOT. Our Imagineering color designers are amazing, and the hues selected will accentuate the architecture and new neighborhoods coming to life in the front of the park. And just like the decisions we all make at home, picking colors takes time and a lot of testing. One of the biggest decisions was what color to paint the exterior facades of our new Creations Shop. We were searching for something neutral and warm to perfectly capture the light and architectural details of these renovated buildings while complementing the adjacent Spaceship Earth façade. Our team has developed mock-ups and samples to get just the right shade, and we’re excited to begin applying it to our buildings.”
