Disney Issues Compensation for Rainy Boo Bash

If you were in Central Florida on August 24th, 2021, you were probably caught in some pretty nasty weather. Central Florida is known for storms, but last night there was heavy rain and lightning for most of the night. Happily Ever After was canceled in most of the outdoor attractions at Magic Kingdom were closed as well. This was even more of a disappointment for those Guests who had tickets to Disney Boo Bash After Hours. The event started at 9:30, but bad weather can ruin those plans. Cavalcades were canceled, and Guests we’re very limited to what they could do.

As you can guess, many Guests who wanted a refund Since Disney Boo Bash After Hours is a separate ticketed event. Walt Disney World reportedly offered Guests a free one day ticket. Guest who wanted a refund were asked to contact Guest Relations. Remember that Walt Disney World is open, rain or shine, so this is a chance you are taking when you buy a separate ticket event. Walt Disney World did not have to offer any compensation.

Disney Boo Bash After Hours will run select nights at Magic Kingdom from August 10th, 2021, to October 31st, 2021. Guests of all ages can dress up and costumes and get some extra treats included with the price of admissionThere are special photo opportunities and many Halloween themed cavalcades. Any age can go trick or treating at this event so have your sweet tooth ready. Although there are limited hours for this event, there will be shorter wait times since it is a separate ticket. You’ll be able to get more rides and attractions in plus since this is after dark, you won’t have the hot Florida sun beating down on you, which is always nice. This is a nice replacement for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.
