We love every little bit of information or sneak peeks that we can get of the new Star Wars-themed land coming to Walt Disney World and Disneyland in California. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is the new immersive land, which is expected to open in 2019 (no official confirmed month or day yet). At Walt Disney World, the land will open within Disney’s Hollywood Studios in an area including the existing Star Tours attraction at the park. Fortunately, we can get a look at the construction of the land via a video that Disney Parks Blog released!

Per Disney Parks Blog, here is what guests can expect at the new land:
“At Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, guests will be transported to the planet of Batuu, a remote outpost on the galaxy’s edge that was once a busy crossroads along the old sub-lightspeed trade routes. Here, guests will find themselves in the middle of the action at two attractions that take detail and immersion to the next level: one that lets guests take the controls of Millennium Falcon on a customized secret mission, and an epic Star Wars adventure that puts guests in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance.”

This video was first shared at the 2018 Annual Meeting of Shareholders. The land looks to be amazing and expansive thus far. We can’t wait to check out all of the amazing details and learn more about the experiences that this immersive land will offer.
What do you all think so far?
