Walt Disney World has made an update to their dining policy which is showing relaxed COVID-19 guidelines when it comes to self-serve beverage stations. If you’ve dined at a quick-service location since the phased reopening began in Summer 2020, you’ve seen how Cast Members stand by the beverage stations to fill and refill beverages for guests. Now, guests are once again allowed to do so on their own.

As listed on the Walt Disney World website: “Self-Serve Changes: Some self-serve beverage stations—which allow for Guests to fill and refill their own beverages—are available at select quick-service restaurants located in Walt Disney World theme parks and Disney Resort hotels. Locations may vary.”

What are your thoughts? Are you excited to once again be allowed to fill and refill your own drink? This change makes it especially easy for those that have purchased refillable mugs for their resort stay. We’ll continue to keep you posted as Disney makes adjustments according to CDC guidelines, along with watching vaccination numbers grow.
