Cast Member Missing

Constance Lynn Campbell never showed up to work at her job at Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom this past Friday. The 65-year-old was then reported missing. She was last spotted leaving her home in a blue 2019 Honda Civic with a Disney World 50th Anniversary specialty license plate.

The story of her disappearance quickly became national news. Many people shared images of Constance Lynn Campbell and her personal information in hopes that someone, somewhere, would find her and contact the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. Unfortunately, the efforts did not yield the desired results.

Found in a Hotel

On April 29, 2023, the sheriff’s office found Campbell deceased in a hotel room in Osceola County. They initially did not release information regarding her condition but later confirmed her passing. There were no initial signs of foul play, but the investigation is ongoing.

Family Reaction

Authorities believe she may have traveled to a Rodeway Inn in Kissimmee, FL, a well-known area for suspicious activity. This led to much speculation, with multiple people asking for sources. This was confirmed when Campbell’s niece commented on the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office FaceBook post, representing her family:

“I am Connie’s niece, posting on behalf of her family. The family appreciates everyone’s concern and condolences, and asks that everyone please be respectful of their privacy during this extremely difficult time. At this time, the family will not be sharing any details about Connie’s death. Thank you.”

Multiple people including fellow Cast Members, have offered condolences to the family. The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the situation.

About Steven Wilk

Steven has a complicated relationship with Disney. As a child, he visited Walt Disney World every few years with his family. But he never understood why kids his age (and older) were so scared of Snow White or Alien Encounter. He is a former participant of the Disney College Program (left early…long story), and he also previously worked in Children’s publishing, where he adapted multiple Disney movies and TV shows. He has many controversial opinions about Disney…like having a positive view of Michael Eisner, believing Return of the Jedi is superior to The Empire Strikes Back, and that Toy Story Land and Galaxy’s Edge should have never been built (at least not at Hollywood Studios). Every year for the past two decades, Steven has visited either Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Aulani or went on a Disney Cruise. He’s happy to share any and all knowledge of the Disney destinations (and he likes using parenthesis a lot…as well as ellipses…)
