Well, Disneyland keeps slowly but surely inching towards reopening! After over 6 months of closure, California has yet to agree to reopen Disneyland due to COVID-19 concerns while Disney Parks around the globe are already in phased reopening. Disneyland did have a visit from the local heath agency which included a few recommendations Disneyland has since adopted.

As shared by OCRegister: Disneyland has adopted a host of COVID-19 health and safety recommendations from the Orange County Health Care Agency after medical officials toured Disney’s Anaheim theme parks that have been closed by the global pandemic for nearly seven months.

Disneyland adopted several COVID-19 health and safety recommendations from O.C. Health officials following a tour of Disney’s Anaheim theme parks, including:

  • Adding Spanish language signs with health and safety protocol information
  • Placing ground markings outside restrooms to help minimize cross traffic
  • Installing additional hand sanitizing stations at attractions

We’ll keep you posted as we learn more as the Disneyland and the California Government continues to debate when, if, and how Disneyland Resort should reopen.
