Disney’s Blizzard Beach To Close April 2 Due to Cold Temperatures

Look out Floridians! While many of the northern Disney fans may laugh at this, Florida is getting a “cold front” causing Disney to close their one water park currently open, Blizzard Beach, on Friday, April 2.

As first reported by WDWNT, you’ll notice when visiting the Walt Disney World website that no park hours are listed for April 2, but do resume April 3. At this point in time, it looks there’s only a one day closure to work your water park plans around.

So, what’s the temperature on April 2 that is causing the closure? Kissimmee, Florida is to reach a low of 49 degrees with a high of 63. Don’t judge us northern Disney fans… that’s too cold for Floridians to attempt a water park!
