It is getting closer to the major milestone celebration for Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World.  The theme park is celebrating 30 years of movie fun with guests.  There will be a special celebration on May 1st, 2019 with a variety of special offerings.  We have the rundown of everything you can expect if you will be lucky enough to celebrate the occasion at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  Check it out below:

View a Star Studded Celebration: There will be a Disney’s Hollywood Studios 30th Anniversary Star-Studded Celebration cavalcade starring Mickey and friends at 10 AM.  It will make its way down Hollywood Blvd.

Pick Up a Commemorative 30th Anniversary Guide Map & Button: When entering the park, there will be a special 30th anniversary commemorative guide map and button.

 

Exclusive 30th Anniversary Merchandise: There will be special merchandise available for the anniversary starting on  May 1st, which includes a new adult T-shirt, baseball cap, Tervis 24-oz tumbler, MagicBand, ornament and much more. There will also be exclusive Annual Passholder merchandise available, too. The merchandise will be available in Grand Park, while supplies last.

Special Food & Beverage Items: – There will be a variety of special offerings including Kylo Ren Cupcakes, Incredibles Macarons, Tres Leches Verrine and other great items.
“Wonderful World of Animation”:  For the anniversary, the park will debut the new nighttime projection show on May 1st,   The park’s new nighttime projection show will light up the park for its official debut on May 1. The show is a tribute to a variety of films, including “Sleeping Beauty,” “The Incredibles,” “Coco” and many more. The show will debut at 9:05 PM EST, just prior to the park’s “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular” fireworks show.

There has also been Disney After Hours event added for May 1st.  Tickets are on sale now.  Guests will be able to enjoy a variety of the attractions, special characters and fun late into the evening after park closing.  There will also be a special encore performance of “Wonderful World of Animation” taking place exclusively for event attendees.
