Disney’s Main Street Electrical Parade is a classic, and if you ask many Disney fans, they will say that is their favorite parade. We’ve had to say goodbye to it many times, but it always seems to make its way back. That shows how loved it truly is. Although Disney has not “officially” confirmed that it is returning to Disneyland on their official Tik-Tok page, they give us a little teaser with the iconic music and the adorable float. Right after that, it says, “to be continued…” as they drive the truck away with the caption “Thousands of sparkling lights ✨ #ToBeContinued #Disney #DisneyParks #Disneyland #Magic #Lights”  It’s pretty safe to say that it looks like it will be returning, and we could not be happier about it. You can see that video here.

This parade first debuted in Disneyland, California, on June 17th, 1972. It has moved around through all the different Parks and seems to open and close pretty regularly. When it closed again, many Guests were very sad but knowing this parade it always seemed to come back. That is not a complaint because we love this so much. There are 600,000 electronically controlled LED lights and music that gets stuck in your head for days. The floats are so adorable, and this parade feels like it belongs at Disney. Its last run was September 30th, 2019.

Since there is still no “official” announcement yet, we will share that with you when it happens. Plus, when we find out and opening date, we will let you know right away. This is so exciting, and although there are so many new things coming to all the parks worldwide, sometimes the classic things that we love and miss returning are just as good.
