Celebrating a holiday at Disney is always the way to go. Each year Disneyland celebrates Halloween in its own magical way. This year is no different, as they gear up for the Oogie Boogie Bash celebration at Disneyland in California. Guests love this spooky event running through the fall season, experiencing the mischievous fun and frightful decor.

On June 27, 2023, Disneyland began with pre-sale for Magic Key holders at 9 a.m. PT. Following the pre-sale was then the sale for the general public on June 29, 2023. Disney announced some of the characters that will be making a Guest Appearance at the Halloween Bash, like Bruno, and some favorite characters, like Minnie Mouse, dressed up as The Sanderson Sisters.

It seems Guests really listened to Disney and marked their calendars for this special event ticket. Once the tickets were open for pre-sale, beginning at 9 a.m. PT, the website began having issues. When tickets were opened to the public, the website paused with what Inside the Magic describes as “no end in sight.”

While some lucky fans could snag a ticket, many were left empty-handed. This Halloween bash feels extra scary now waiting for a ticket; fans are hoping they will come back for purchase. Since the pause, Disney released a statement on the website, letting fans know there will be an opportunity to get back in line for their Oogie Boogie Bash event ticket. Disney writes,

Guests can visit here on Thursday, July 6 at 9 a.m. PT for an update, which may include the date and time when new sales resume. We commit to providing advance notice prior to activating new sales and strive to make the process as smooth as possible. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Completed ticket purchases will be honored.
