On Friday, December 23rd there was a fire that occurred at Unno Boutique in Kissimmee, Florida. This fire resulted in 250 being left without a place to stay for Christmas. At first one of the middle schools in Kissimmee was the temporary shelter for these individuals. This didn’t seem like the best place for these families to have to spend Christmas, so Congressman Darren Soto and officials from American Red Cross spoke to Disney about the situation. Disney ended up offering around 60 families resort stays and park tickets to enjoy the holidays.

This was a really nice Christmas gift for these displaced families for Christmas. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, with no new updates given at this time. There were no injuries associated with the fire, thankfully, which was a Christmas miracle.
