The Walt Disney Company is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year with special experiences for fans both at Disney Parks and at home.
In honor of Disney100, DOLE has shared several recipes inspired by Disney movies and characters, including one recipe to make your very own DOLE Whips at home, and we cannot wait to try them!
ABC shared the full lineup of new recipes from DOLE, including instructions for how fans can recreate the classic Disney Park treat at home. The recipe is very easy to follow and includes ingredients you may already have at home in addition to of course, DOLE pineapple:
1 cup ripe Dole pineapple, chopped and frozen
1 ripe Dole Banana, peeled and frozen
2-1/2 teaspoons powdered sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk
1 teaspoon lime juice
Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Cover; blend until smooth, about 2-3 minutes. Garnish with fresh pineapple. Serve immediately.
You could easily take this DOLE Whip recipe and make it into a DOLE Whip float instead simply by serving it atop of a glass of pineapple juice. And DOLE Whips are a plant-based treat, both in how they are served in Disney Parks and Resorts and how this recipe is made from home. Save these instructions, and you’ll get a little taste of Adventureland (or maybe the Polynesian?) right from your kitchen.
Along with the iconic DOLE Whip recipe, DOLE also shared some truly adorable small plate ideas to create a full menu of eats inspired by favorite Disney films.
The full lineup of recipes also includes Glass Slipper Veggie Tea Sandwiches, Shrimp and Pineapple “Thingamabobs,”Te Fiti Fudgy Coco Cake Pops, Guardians Grilled Chicken, Spidey-Sense Veggie Pizzas, Critic’s Choice Rustic Ratatouille, Le Gris Stuff a la Lumiere, and many, many more.
At Walt Disney World, new DOLE Whips are debuting all the time, especially at Swirls on the Water in Disney Springs.
For more DOLE Whips during your Disney vacation, visit Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland, Tamu Tamu Refreshments in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, or Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. And at home, be sure to try DOLE Whips and the other recipes featured by DOLE for Disney100!
